What to expect when you visit Baptist Temple Church

What should I wear?
Where do I go?
Will I find a seat?
Is there something for my kids?

Maybe you are returning to church, or coming to church for the very first time. Or, maybe you're an active church member who just moved to town and needs to find a new church home. Whatever your story may be, you probably have a lot of questions before you visit Baptist Temple Church.

Below are some common questions we hear about what to expect on a typical Sunday. If we've missed something, let us know!

What is your Sunday schedule?

  • Sunday School groups meet at 9:30 a.m. in the Education Wing.  We have classes for children, teenagers, and adults of all ages.
  • Worship service begins at 10:45 a.m. in the Worship Center.

What do I wear?

You will see anything from shorts to suits on Sundays.  There is no right or wrong way to dress.

Is there anything for my children?

Of course!  There are Sunday School classes at 9:30 a.m. for every age group.  During the Worship Service we have a special time just for our children where a member of our church shares a short message on their level, usually sharing a treat at the end!

What Bible study class do I fit in?

We offer two different adult classes on Sunday mornings.  While our classes are separated loosely by age groups, we encourage you to try out both classes to find the one you feel fits your state of life and Bible study preference.

What is the music style at your church?

We sing a mix of traditional hymns and contemporary praise songs each week, led by our praise team.
